Dr. Jorge Andrés Ávila Del Pino

I am an Orthopedic Surgeon, an expert in foot and ankle surgery with multinational experience in Australia, Switzerland and Chile. My initial medical training was as a Surgeon at the Pan American University in Mexico, and later I specialized in Orthopedics at the ABC Medical Center endorsed by the UNAM.

Treatments

I offer highly specialized surgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide range of conditions affecting the feet at all ages.

This includes everything from sports injuries to developmental disorders, fractures and complications secondary to diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. Additionally, I have experience in the management of degenerative conditions such as flat feet, osteoarthritis or joint wear, bunions (Hallux valgus), Achilles tendon, claw toes and Morton's neuroma.

Services

In addition to knowledge of non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy, insoles and orthotics, my surgical skills range from minimally invasive procedures (MIS/MICA) to arthroscopy and ankle prostheses. As well as the management of complications such as serious infections and limb salvage.
